Such a mess!

This is our little chance inside the toy box. Yesterday I clean the house put everything away where it should be but today again this little monster take out all the toys from his toy box so he can go inside in it. Poor me! All that work I did is just nothing because here the big mess again. I can't help it, that's makes him busy. If I say No to him he will go right away to me and give me kisses and that's melts my heart.:)

My Favorite Domestic Seafood Recipe

Cooking home style seafood dishes is great because they taste better and much healthier. I grow up in the Philippines where we always have fresh fish or any seafood. Well no wonder because we are surrounded and close to the ocean. Almost everyday we eat fish either its fresh fried fish or dried fish. One of my favorite recipe is Sweet and Sour Fish we called it (Escabeche) in the Philippines, its taste so yummy. So for those of you out there who like seafood, I will share you this recipe and I bet you will love it. This dish might be a great contender too in the fifth annual great American seafood Cook off this coming August 2-3 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center within the Louisiana Food service EXPO and the Gulf Coast Seafood Pavilion. This event is so exciting it is one of America’s most prestigious culinary competitions, with excellent chefs from different state in the US will walk away with the title of King or Queen of American Seafood. A wonderful event that you don't wanna miss. The recipe of sweet and sour fish is the following:

Ingredients:
1 lb cleaned and scalled red snapper, tuna or fish steaks
1 tsp salt, for dredging
1/2 cup cooking oil
Sweet and Sour sauce:
1/2 cup fine sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 small carrot
1 medium green pepper
1 medium red or yellow pepper
1 medium cucumber, thinly slice
1/2 tbsp cornstarch dissolve in 2 tbsp water

Preparation:
1. Make 2 slits each side of the fish and put salt all over the fish. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the fish until it turns brown or fully cooked. Remove from the pan and put it in the serving platter.
2. Make the sweet and sour sauce, combine the water,sugar, vinegar and tomato ketchup in a saucepan. add the carrots and cook for about 5 minutes, then add the bell peppers and cucumber. Simmer for about 3 minutes until vegetables is tender then add the cornstarch mixture and simmer until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and pour the sweet and sour sauce over the fish. If you like, decorate with any fresh herbs and serve it with rice.

July Cord Blood Awareness

Since last week my husband is so desperate to get a Nintendo wii. Last weekend when were at the fair they have a silent auction and one of the item is a Nintendo wii. It ends yesterday at 12:00 noon since 9:00 am we already go there because he wanna watch the auction like every minute but on the last minute of the auction lots of people put higher bid on Nintendo wii until it went higher about $300 plus just for the box. I called my friend Jamie because I know she bought it before and ask for the cost she said its only cost $250 at target so I then told my husband not to bid no more because its already too high. He is so upset at me for not letting him bid higher because he want it so badly that day. So we went home and called many stores around but theirs no available yet and that's make him more upset on me for not letting him get it. Gosh! he is so inpatient way too excited for the game...Oh man!.Finally today when he called walmart they already have 3 available so we have to hurry going to the store before other get it. Cost us about 500 bucks Co's he also bought many accessories and sport game to go with it. Thanks god I have a friend who helps him purchase the game. It helps us a lot.

Chasing opps in the fair

My husband have booth in the fair and today late afternoon my husband pick us up to go in the fair. I brought my laptop with me because I know I'm just gonna set down in the table and one thing is I wanna keep chasing opps:). But when I open my laptop I gotta hard time connecting to internet. I didn't give up and still looking for a place I can steal internet connection and finally found it when I put my laptop in the top of ATV. I got the connection from the hotel close to the fair but I have to set down in the ATV all the time because if I go down I lost my connection. Everytime theirs people passing by they will look at me what I'm doing but I didn't care. Their is one guy come close to me and ask what I'm doing and ask if I am the sales lady LOL! (wla kaagwanta nkialam jud:). I was just five steps away from my husband booth so it wasn't bad. Nice I got to do my opps that I reserve before I left the house and now just got another one. Wheeew! had to do everything just to make money even if it wasn't that much, well better than nothing.:)

Sixty Six Movie

I like watching a movie and while I was browsing online I found this new release movie titled "Sixty six" starring Helena Bonham Carter. The story of this movie is all about a young british boy who mistakenly has his Bar Mitzvah during the 1966 World Cup. Very interesting, I am looking forward to this movie. I been watching a Philippine show by Claudine Barretto, titled " IIsa pa lamang" . I watch it online for free because I disconnect my TFC Channel on TV its out of budget already:)... Fun Age

Chance is on his fun age now. He can do about anything to get your attention. I remember yesterday when were at the mall he wanna keep walking and waving to all the people he see and give them a smile if that person talk to him he will give them a high five. Its just fun he is so friendly. I was thinking when he grow up his gonna be a chick boy :)... I got a cute picture of him playing pick-a-boo while I was in the kitchen. Cute! Isn't it? Just like mommy not daddy:)...Whoaaahh!

I guess I'm addicted to VS already not just online but also in their store with all those pink stuff they got, I can't resist specially if its on clearance sale. Yesterday they have lots of sale about 75%OFF so i bought a lot of cologne mist and lotion because its only cost $2.50 but original price is around $20 and also got 13 undies original price is 3 for $25 but got it for a $1.99 wheeeww such a good deal i added to my collection.. Today I went to Duluth do my biometrics echos. My husband can't go with me because he is busy at work. This is my first time driving in a big city without my husband on my side, well I have my mother-in-law with me but she is not too familiar with the place so I have to monkey monkey my driving with all the traffics and big bridges across the big lake. I been wanting to drive in the city by myself but my husband seems scared for me. I know I can handle it as long as I know where to go, I been there before so I'm familiar with the place and we been going up there this summer so that makes me easy to familiarize the road. well I did it and were safe, thanks god. Anyway after my appointment we went to the mall and do some clearance sale shopping... wheeewww! Got good deals VS again:).

Got My 3rd Fish

Its already 11:00 pm and ppp release lots of opportunity for me :). This is my 3rd and last opps for today. I love this place during summer time that's why we always go there, the lake is just so pretty and if you go up in the hill you can see the whole lake. The whole city is in the hill , it is like Baguio City in the Philippines that most houses is in the hill. Finally Were tall With Funny Video

Yesterday my husband bought a stilt for him to use at the fair this weekend. He want to be tall from everybody and wanna be trying hard clown!!! We went to a friends house and try it on. He first did it and kinda fun so I end up trying it too. Boy! so hard to be tall with stilt on, specially if its 40 inches long and heavy too.
I got a funny video while he was doing it for the first time. He tried walking w/out holding on something while one our friend get some pipe for him to hold for support but he didnt wait for that so this is what happen, Watch the Video....

The Begger

Couple days ago when we go for a walk at the park their is a tall guy came to us and ask money for 78cents and my husband give him $1.00 . The man said he dont have enough money to buy something so after we give the money he went to his car which is park next to our car. I saw his wife waiting in the front set so i just keep watching them while i change diaper on my son. The man leave again and go to other people he see and ask for money again. So I'm guessing thats what his doing most of the day. His around in his late 40s and dress up nice, looks like in good health and speak mix because after we give him the money he said gracias.

Relaxing Evening

This evening after we have supper we went to my parents-in-law about 5 miles away in the country side. We thought of going there to relax and dip in the hot tub. My husband got back pain and so do I from blogging :)so we need it... Tired and Busy

Today got so busy cleaning the house, pick up all the mess in the flour, washing a bulk of clothes, arrange my kitchen co's seems like I don't have place to use or put something. Yesterday we went to Duluth about an 1:30 hour away from here. We go for a walk in the lake shore, feel the cool breeze from the lake and watch the big boats and ship in the lake. We also have lunch at famous dave's my hubby's favorite restaurant. Pretty fun something we did for our unplan day. The really mean purpose of going there is that my husband need to see a Dr. specialist for sore throat. He have sore throat 4 times this year now and the Dr. said its getting bad and he need a surgery by removing his tonsil. They will do it 1st week next month. I'm pretty scared for my husband and I hope the surgery will be just fine.
