My Home Made Salsa

Since we have a lot of tomatoes from our garden I decided to make my own chips salsa. My husband like it and it's nice I can save money. I made about 15 jars but we give some to our friends and relative. I plan to make some more. It's so easy to make. I save jars before from those salsa I bought from store before but my mother-in-law said I could buy canning jars at store so the salsa will be good for a long time.
All you have to do is buy a salsa mix at any grocery store. You have to put the tomatoes in the boiling water for at least two minutes and remove it right away and put it in the cold water. Fill off the skin of the tomatoes and then slice it. One package of salsa mix is good for 5 pints of tomatoes. In a pan boil the slice tomatoes and add the salsa mix. I also add some unions, jalapeno pepper, green pepper and corn. Boil about 5 minutes and its ready to put in the jars. When I serve it I add some sour cream, it taste better.
