Watch for Scam

My husband try to sell something in craigslist and it cost about $800. Their are lots of people email to my husband that they are interested to buy the items. I read the emails and one guy said that his willing to pay $1000 on it through cashier's check and he want us to just mail the item. He said lots of things too and it sounds like just a scam. I just can't imagine he offer more expensive rather than asking for discount. I told hubby not to sell it if we won't see the buyer in person because if their honest they should offer like meeting half way and it should be cash, that way it's safe. So guys watch out.
